Workshop "Rapid Next-Generation-Sequencing (NGS) for Public Health Microbiology" in Münster

The Medical Microbial Genomics Centre of Münster University is happy to announce the workshop "Rapid NGS for Public Health Microbiology" that will take place in Münster from March 4 to 8, 2013. In the recent past, NGS has become an increasingly important technology within the field of genomics research, especially for diagnostic purposes. The Patho-NGen-Trace project also relies on the innovative method of NGS. The workshop program will highlight opportunities and challenges posed by this technology, and give scientists a chance to exchange their practical knowledge and to engage in discussions with colleagues from all over Europe.

As workshop places are limited, potential participants are requested to register as soon as possible. Deadline for registration is January 21, 2013.
