Successful week for Bacterial Genome Detectives PathoNGen-Trace presents itself in Münster

The Workshop & Conference 'Rapid NGS for Public Health Microbiology' which was held in Münster, Germany from March 4th to 8th 2013 in cooperation with PathoNGen-Trace was a success. About 80 participants from 20 countries attended the one day conference, while 26 participants stayed on for the whole week to take part in a so called Wet Laboratory where they were able to practice Ion Torrent PGM and Illumina MiSeq bacterial whole genome sequencing as well as partcipate in a computer class part focussing on CLC Genomics Workbench, BIGSdb, Outbreaker, Ridom SeqSphere+ and CloVR.
