Genome Detectives at Applied Bioinformatics and Public Health Microbiology Conference

The conference on Applied Bioinformatics and Public Health Microbiology in Cambridge provides a platform for discussing recent advances in sequencing and bioinformatics relevant to microbiology. International researchers get together to present their work on Next Generation Sequencing and other genomic approaches suitable to meet the needs of public health.

Two representatives of the PathoNGen-Trace consortium will join the conference. Martin Maiden of Oxford University, UK, belongs to the Scientific Organisers, and Dag Harmsen of University of Münster, Germany, gives insight into his recent research activities in conjunction with PathoNGen-Trace as an invited speaker.
