Interview with Martin Maiden on the Canadian Science Radio Channel “Science for the People”

On May 27, 2016 the Canadian Science Radio Channel “Science for the People” broadcasted an episode on the Public Health Issue meningitis. Regarding vaccine development and actions in the meningitis belt, a region in sub-Saharan Africa where the risk of meningitis is very high, three members of the Maiden Lab, a multidisciplinary group working on understanding the biology of bacterial pathogens, including meningitis, were interviewed. The head of the team Martin Maiden, Professor of Molecular Epidemiology in the Department of Zoology at the University of Oxford, is a member of the PathoNGen-Trace project consortium.
